Cucumbers

This cucumber weighed two pounds.

Neon cucumbers

In 2007 we grew cucumbers in a large pot
and used a tepee-like trellis for support.
I spent the whole summer watering - about twice a day.

6'4" tall cucumber plants

The tepee-trellis wasn’t enough support for our 6'4" tall
cucumber plants. We added two white trellises.

Young cucumber plants

In 2008 we used a water-reservoir pot and trellis
designed for tomatoes. We got 13 huge cucumbers.

Patio Garden

So the following year,
we moved the cucumbers away from all the other plants.
