Darkness

the sun disappeared forever today
not from the pink sky of dawn
only from private awareness
yielding to ominous clouds
a new definition of my life
unfathomable emptiness
taking everything away
denying all sensation
destroying dreams
destroying me
i awoke and
you were
gone
